Mike Lancaster

Mike L. Lancaster, 82, of Glendale Heights, passed away Sunday, April 1. Mike was an artist with the Chicago Sun Times for 35 years as well as a freelance artist, and was proud of his Arkansas heritage. Loving husband of Rose(nee Keaney) for 58 years; beloved father of Tracy(Michael) Morton, Keaney, Danny, and Kelly(Bob) Nitkiewicz; proud grandfather of Sean(Ann) and Caylie Morton and Kierra and Connor Nitkiewicz. Visitation Thursday, April 5 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle. Funeral Friday 9:45am to St. Matthew Church Glendale Heights. Mass 10:30am. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Winfield.
