Michael A. Zahakaylo, 80, of Carol Stream, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Born May 27, 1935 in Chicago. Michael enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time in his garden but his true passion was being with his family. Beloved partner of Donna; loving dad of Michael T, Mark (Trinnette), Marcy (Jim) Niemczyk, Melody (Jeff) Jacobson, Melissa (Ron) Feyereisen, Jason and Maryann Thomas; cherished grandpa of Catherine (Vince), Michelle (Ryan), Cristyn (Anthony), Bryan (Lauren), Nathaniel, Gabrielle, Jennifer (Justin), Kimberly, Brianna, Julianna and Avery; cherished great grandpa of Brennen, Delilah, Dillon, Christopher and Stella; dear son of the late Michael and Catherine (nee Cygan) and brother of Raymond. Visitation 4:00p.m. until time of service 8:00p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Following service, cremation at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, would be appreciated.
