Michael Wlezen

Michael J. Wlezen, 67, of Bartlett, husband of Jackie, nee Gutzmer; father of Matthew (Alison) and Andrew (Brandy), grandfather of Braden, Bryce and Noah; brother of Jeff (Pat), Jack (Sue), Rick (Dana), Chris (Mary Kay) and Carl (Michelle); uncle of many nieces and nephews, the son of the late John and Betty, nee Kariolich and friend of Maya, the family German Shepherd. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family going camping and fishing. He coached his boys in any sport they played. He was an avid Cubs fan who was fortunate to witness a Cubs World Series victory. Visitation Thursday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral Friday lying in state 9:30 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church 1116 E. Devon Ave. Bartlett until the time of service 10:30 am. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
