Michael Rundquist

Michael (Mike) Rundquist, 66, of Streamwood, IL made his journey home June 14,2022.

Mike was born on March 1st, 1956 to Harold and Cecelia Rundquist in Chicago Illinois.
Mike met his best friend, soul mate, and love of his life, Vicki Nugent, in 1975 and later married on June 14th 1980. They were happily married for 42 years. Mike and Vicki resided in Streamwood and had 2 children Angie and Eric.

Mike attended Steinmetz high school in Chicago. An honorable veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He worked for Hanover Township in Bartlet IL for 18 years and retired in March 2021. He was a family man and his favorite job was being Papa to his grand kids, and a mentor to his son.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Cecelia (Boomer) Rundquist, Daughter Angela Travelino, and grandson Nicholas Travelino. Survived by his wife Vicki (Nugent), son Eric (Jean), grandson Michael “Buddy” Travelino, Annette “Punkin” Rundquist, Sisters, Vicki Mitchell Mcmillan, Sheila Rundquist, Kathy (AL) Elliott, Christine (Dan) Fallon, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, June 19, 2022 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Monday 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Info (630) 289-8054.
