Michael Remillard

Michael M. Remillard, 72, of Elgin, died December 11, 2011. Born December 8, 1939 in Chicago. He was the son of Owen and Fay (nee Ventralla). A veteran of the U.S. Army, Michael enjoyed many things including traveling by car, watching old westerns or military movies and shopping but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survivors include children Michele (Paul) Kalinowski, Jill (Joe) Masella, Lisa (Mickey) Ciccone, Michael (Maria), Paul (Jackie) and Joey; grandchildren Steven, Jon, Justin, Tim, Alex, Amanda, Tony, Dan, Jake, Zach, Sammy Joe, Cameron, Samantha and Emily; wife for 25 years Carmen and brother John.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jim and Roger.
A memorial visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2011 from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Burial will be private for the family at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
