Michael Moravec

Michael E. Moravec passed away at the age of 43 on June 6, 2017. He was born on October 4, 1973 in Hinsdale, IL. Mike and his wife, Jennifer (Johnson) Moravec were married on December 7, 2002 in Benson, MN. Mike and Jennifer resided in Streamwood, IL with their two children Madison Grace (12) and Zachary Michael (10).


Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilma and Joseph Moravec and Alexander Zinner; his uncles Richard Moravec and Dr. Donald Moravec and his sister Jennifer Marie Moravec. Mike is survived by his by wife and children, his grandmother Elizabeth (Zinner) Krause, his parents Ed and Sue Moravec, his in-laws Ron and Suzanne Johnson, brother in law of Brooke (Brad) Chandler and Scott (Natalie) Johnson, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, incredible friends and business associates.


Mike graduated from Benet Academy in Lisle, IL in 1991 and received his Bachelor of Science degree of Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1996.


Mike worked for Oracle Corporation for 17+ years contributing much success for CGBU.


Mike certainly had a zest for life that was witnessed by family, friends and business associates, who will sorely miss him.


Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12th, 2017, 4:00pm-8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home located at 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett, IL 60103. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 13th, 2017, 2:30 p.m. at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 1044 Congress Drive Bartlett, IL 60103.
