Michael Joseph Levitzke, Sr., age 54, Passed away October 10, 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a long hard battle with cancer.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 22, 1964 to Roman and Elizabeth "Betty" (nee: Hoffman) Levitzke.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Donna (nee: Dishno); dear father of Nicole (Jared) Bultinck, Michael Jr. (Alexandra) and Matthew; adoring grandfather of Amber, Merzadies "Zadie", Alanna, Liam, Jaxon and Ezra; caring son of Elizabeth "Betty"; fond brother of Mark (Janet), Mary Ellen (Dr. Joseph) Giangrasso; loving uncle to several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his father Roman. He will also be missed by his furry companions Sharpie, Kaner, Taser and Bonzo.
Michael was a union carpenter with local 839 and was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed watching the Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks. He was always smiling and will be missed by all who knew him.
