Michael “Mike” Kuzniar, 59, of Hanover Park, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Elk Grove Village. Born August 30, 1952 in Chicago. He was the son of Stanley and Meta (nee Jedrasek). A veteran of the Army National Guard, Mike enjoyed many sports including Nascar, watching the Bears and Hawks play and attending the Hotrod Power Tour with his sons. He will be missed by his family.
Survivors include wife Arleen (nee Wiernik); sons Mark, Philip (Andrea) and Michael and grandsons Conner, Aiden and Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph.
Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2011 from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Streamwood. Funeral Tuesday 9:15a.m. going to St. John the Evangelist Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Following the Mass cremation will be at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Stroke Foundation, www.americanstroke.org.
