Michael Kowalchik of Schaumburg; beloved husband of 65 years to Frieda (nee Wippel); loving father of Michael, Linda (Damian) Klauber and Deborah Hoekstra; cherished grandfather of Michael, John(Kathy), Janelle (Matt), Alyssa, Mariel and Dominic; dear brother of Maj. Frank and the late Russell (late Helen).
A WWII veteran and a member of the sheet metal union.
Visitation Tuesday 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle, Il 60172. Funeral Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to St. Walter Church. Mass 11:00 a.m. Following mass cremation will be at the Countryside Crematory.
In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Research at alz.org would be appreciated.
