Michael W. Hyde

Michael W. Hyde, 83, of Huntley, formerly of Bartlett, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026. He was born on May 9, 1943, in Berwyn to Leroy and Helen Hyde.
Mike dedicated his professional life to education and public service as Associate Superintendent for Business at Township High School District 211. He was respected for his dedication, integrity, and commitment to the students, staff, and families of the district.
He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially golfing, bird-watching, scenic drives, and exploring new restaurants with family and friends. Michael will be remembered for his steady presence, thoughtful nature, and the love he shared with those around him.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his children, Tim (Teresa), Beth (Bart) Wec; his cherished grandchildren, Addison and Juliana, brothers Jim (Pam), Tom (Rhonda), sister Peg (Paul) Yurinich, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on May 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory in Bartlett, IL.
