Visitation for Michael John Arendt of Hoffman Estates, formerly of Des Plaines for 28 years will be held Thursday Oct. 20, 2011 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Vistation Friday 9:15a.m. until time of mass 10:15a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Church 9711 W. Devon Ave. Rosemont 60018. Interment Maryhill.
Born April 3, 1948, Michael died Monday Oct. 17,2011.
A teacher for 33 years at Hester Jr. High School in Franklin Park, he also coached basketball and volleyball. He was a dedicated husband, father grandfather, son, friend and teacher.
Michael is the beloved husband of 41 years of Madeline nee Palicki; loving father of Kevin (Alison) of Campton Hills, Amy (Joe) Fasolo of Arlington Hts., and Matthew of Itasca; proud grandfather of Tess and Zoe Arendt, Joseph and Madeline Fasolo; cherished son of Margaret nee Musgrave and the late Francis; dear brother of Mary (the late Arthur) Mansavage, Bill (Mary Ellen), Sue, Bob (Mary), Jim (Laura Lopez), Elizabeth (Jim) Hamilton, David (Barb) and the late Terry; many many loving nieces and nephews.
