Visitation for Micaela Arevalo nee Romero, of Hanover Park since 1986, will be Monday, September 26, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Prayers will be Tuesday 10:15 AM at the funeral home, to St. Ansgar Church mass 11:00 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.

She was the beloved wife of Alfonso Arevalo for 58 years; Loving mother of Ana Rosa (Candelario) Tapia, Alfonso (Lynn), Miguel (Sandra), and the late Marta Gabriela Arevalo. Proud grandmother of Alexander, Gregory, Cecilia, Stefan, Connor, and Addison.
Micaela enjoyed cooking, reading, and music especially the mariachis. Spending time with her family was always important to her.
