Merlene Winclechter

Merlene “Cathy” Winclechter nee Siminon, of Streamwood since 1969; born June 17, 1939 in Rensselaer, IN; died May 14, 2009 at home; beloved wife of Edward J.; loving mother of Crystal Winclechter of Elgin and Laurie (Dan) Olson of Streamwood; cherished grandmother of Aaron Olson and Darrien Ely; special daughter of the late Clarence and Irene nee Kitterman Siminon; dear sister of Ellen, Delores, Caroline, Arlene and the late David and Josephine; many loving nieces, nephews & cousins. Merlene was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force; she loved traveling and bowling.

Visitation Saturday 2:00 PM until the time of services 6:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
