Mercedes "Merce" J. Freyer (nee:Dietz),98, passed away on November 7th. Beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Mercedes "Mickey" Thurston and the late James (Jane) Freyer;caring sister of the late Aime (the late Helen) Dietz and the late Maryann (Rudy) Siptrott ; dear grandmother of Judy, Cara (Walt), Aimee, Ruth, Julie (Leon), fond great grandmother of JoLynn, Lee, Josie and Jimmy.
Born in Chicago where she was an active member of Gethsemane Church, Merce also lived several years in Glendale Hts., participating in programs at St. Paul Church and later volunteering at Bridgeway of Bensenville, where she resided. Her singing. baking, crafts and warm smile were welcomed by all who were fortunate to know Merce.
Visitation Saturday November 17 from 10:00 am until time of remembrance at 11:00am at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle. Burial will be private in Eden's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Kindred Hospice, 85 W. Algonquin Rd., Arlington Heights, Il. 60005 appreciated.
