Visitation and Funeral Services for Mrs. Meera Acharya of Elk Grove Village will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett, IL.


Meera Acharya passed away on September 11, 2021. Meera was the beloved mother of Prasun and Snigdha Acharya and wife of the late Prabir K. Acharya. She had a kind and generous spirit that will be missed by her dear friends and family. As the oldest of seven siblings, Meera was cherished and adored not only by her brothers and sisters, but also by countless others in her extended Indian family. Both Prabir and Meera’s loss is felt everywhere.
