Mathilda “Tillie” Niccum nee Brune of Elgin; Beloved mother of Charles (Marty), Jim (Chris), Ed (Rose), Mary Jo (Dan) Starr and the late Robert; cherished grandmother of Sherrie, John, Tom (Jessica), Andy (Carrie), J.J., Todd, Eric, Alex and Candace Niccum, Jill (Brian) Cascio, Katie and Kristina Starr; proud great grandmother of Amelia, Elias, Isaiah, Haylee, Blake Niccum and Aidan Cascio; dear sister of Lawrence Brune, Sr. Nathanael Brune and the late Irene Dette, Felix Brune and Regina Lamb; Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Retired after many years from Motorola at the age of 79, a devoted member of St. Mary’s Church for over 25 years. Visitation Thursday 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett and also Friday 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 397 Fulton St., Elgin. Interment Mt. Hope.
