Marylou E. Martinez, 63, of Westchester, passed away suddenly on December 3, 2022. Marylou was born on April 18, 1959 in Chicago. Marylou enjoyed working with all of her friends at Rush University Medical Center since her start in 1986. Her favorite hobbies was watching reality TV, but most importantly being surrounded by family and friends. Beloved Mom of James (Jenna) Martinez and Gabriella Martinez; loving daughter of Geraldine “Gerry” and the late Frank Perry; cherished sister of Tony (Dee) Perry, Frank Perry and Karen (Vince) Gutekanst; dear significant other of Michael Fitzgerald; aunt to several niece and nephew and niece, cousin and friend to many. Memorial gathering 12:00 pm until time of stories 3:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be appreciated.
