Mary Louise Rzepecki, 72, of Elgin, IL passed away in Scottsdale, AZ on June 12, 2026. She was born in Forest Park, IL on August 7, 1953. Mary was one of five children to Thomas and Jean Komos. Her siblings included Michael (Rosann) Komos, Diane (Grady Gianpaolo) Komos, Christopher Komos and Steve Komos.

Mary was the treasured wife of almost 42 years of Frank and together they had 5 children: Michelle (Ralph) Schulte, Lisa (Mark) Kamins, Jennifer Damato, Kristen (Robert) Lucas and Michael Damato. She greatly loved and bragged about all of the accomplishments of her 10 grandchildren: Jeffery, Danny (Abagail), Brooke, Matthew, Thomas, Abigail, Olivia, Nicky and Claire. Mary was also loved by her aunts, uncles and many cousins and lovingly known at "Auntie Lou" to her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mary was a 30 -year Brain Cancer survivor and battled many other medical issues that took her life all too soon.

Her quick wit and humor will be cherished by all of her lifelong friends and acquaintances including her numerous work associates that have enjoyed the pleasure of knowing her during her career in the real estate business.

Mary loved to go camping and taking the motorhome trips to many different parts of the country.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 2:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL 60103. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwest Comfort Care in Scottsdale, Arizona: 8608 E Roanoke Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 or to Hospice of the Valley, in Pheonix, Arizona: https://hov.org/donate/donate-now/ .
