Mary Priest

Visitation for Mary F. Priest nee McSweeny of Roselle since 1981 will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 10:00 a.m. until time of service 12:30 p.m at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.

Mary is the beloved wife of 37 years of Jerry; loving mother of Jeffrey Priest and Kelly (Christopher) Barszcz; cherished grandmother of Ryker and Kenzie Priest, Violet and Hunter Barszcz; dear sister of John McSweeny, Bill (Donna) McSweeny, Jane (Mike) Moscinski and Jim (Desiree) McSweeny; many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary held several jobs throughout her adult life. After starting her family, she was able to be a Stay at Home mom. As years passed, she was a caregiver for both her father-in law and mother-in-law, as well as for her mother and stepfather.

She was a talented decorator. She loved painting, repurposing furniture, as well as making handmade greeting cards.

In later years, it was her grandchildren who brought much happiness and joy into her life. She will be missed by all her knew and loved her.
