Mary Malo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jean Malo on September eleventh, 2024.  Born January 22 ^nd 1943 to Frank & Mabel Boling in Chicago, Illinois.  Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, whose presence brought warmth and joy to everyone she knew.

She had a passion for life's simple pleasures. Her Christmas cookies were a holiday favorite, and she had a deep fondness for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, potato chips, & ice cream. She delighted in a good chicken parmesan and enjoyed playing canasta with friends and family.  Hosting the annual family Saint Patrick’s Day was particularly close to her heart, as she loved having everyone over.

Mary was known for her steadfastness, her compassionate listening, and her generous spirit. She always made time for those she loved, offering a caring ear and thoughtful advice whenever needed. Her legacy of kindness and dedication will forever be cherished.

Marry was preceded in death by husband Lawrence Malo.  She is survived by her daughter Lori Sutphin & husband Scott, eldest son Arthur Nelson and youngest son, Greg Malo & wife Julie.  Grandmother to Brett & wife Jolene, Raechal & husband Ted, Sarah & husband Samuel, Melanie & husband Michael.  Great-grandmother to Jack, Emma, Hailey, Cece, Westley, Millie, McKayla, Tristan & Dean.

Mary will be deeply missed but remembered with great love, affection & appreciation.
