Mary Kate Lechert (nee Durkin), 86, of Bartlett. Beloved wife of 62 years to Richard; Loving mom of Susan (Douglas) Stephan, Judith (Tom) Fudala, Richard (Letty Hawkes-Lechert), Scott (Paul Kelly), Lisa (Joe) Traina and the late Peter; cherished grandma of Amy (Mike), Eric (Faith), Adam, Bryan, Tim, Taylor, Amber, Andrei, Dru and Joey and great-grandma of Anna, Kate and and Callen; dear daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (nee Mugan) Durkin and caring sister of Chris, Margaret and the late Tom, Philomena, Michael, Philip and Teresa. Mary was very proud of her Irish Heritage. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 10:30a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation to follow at the Countryside Crematory. Private Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
