For several years, she participated in a variety of learning activities, outings, and swimming led by a dedicated classroom team. In 2024, Mary transitioned to residency at Marklund, moving into a group home with a roommate and 14 housemates. This chapter was a rich and rewarding experience made possible by the professionals at Marklund who provided a vibrant, activity-filled routine. Her nurses and the entire staff at Richard Home worked tirelessly to keep Mary safe and happy every day. Mary found great joy in exploring the world around her. She loved walking through grocery store, exploring museums, and spending time outdoors. When visiting her parents, she liked watching cartoons and visiting with the neighbors. Mary looked forward to long car rides and walks in the park. Mary was blessed with an amazing extended family. She loved lively family gatherings and time spent with her sister.
