Marvin Breitlow

Marvin H. Breitlow, 73, of Elgin, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Born September 26, 1937 in Milwaukee. He was the son of Fred and Elnora "Eleanor" (nee Boettcher). Marvin was a master plumber and designed swimming pools for many famous people. He enjoyed collecting toy soldiers, Matchbox cars and antiques, but his true passion was being with his family.
Survivors include wife Charlene (nee Goodell); children Steve (Cheryl), Jodi (Dave) Thill and Jerry (Mary) Verstat; grandchildren Kathryne, Christina, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Justin and Katya.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Janis Nelson.
Memorial Visitation will be Sunday, February 27, 2011, from 2p.m. – 7p.m. with a memorial service at 4p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation at the Countryside Crematory. Memorials to Foundation For Scarcoidosis Research, www.stopscarcoidosis.org, would be appreciated.
