Mark R. Hudson 45, of Elgin. Beloved husband for 20 years to Kathryn (nee Ward); loving father of Kara and Kendall Hudson; Proud son of Robert and Marcia (nee Conley) Hudson; dear brother of Sara Hudson; cherished uncle of David and Abbey Mills.
Mark Graduated from Princeton High School in 1985 and received his Bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University. On February 10, 1992, he married Kathryn Ward. Mark began working as a firefighter and paramedic in Streamwood in 1992 in 1999 he was promoted to Lieutenant, in 2001 to Battalion Chief, and in 2006 he became the Deputy Chief of the Streamwood Fire Department. Mark was the owner of Hudson Cleaning and Restoration Inc. Mark enjoyed camping and was avid NASCAR fan.
Visitation Thursday 3:00p.m. until time of service 8:00p.m, at The Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Also a visitation will be held Friday at Norberg Memorial Home, 701 East Thompson Street, Princeton, Illinois from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. With funeral services Saturday 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.
