Marjorie Ann Shilkus nee Carlsen; beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving mother of Mark Anthony (Gloria) Shilkus, Valerie Ann (Thomas) Rominski, John Arthur (Norma) Shilkus and the late Teri Lynn Shilkus; cherished grandmother of Richard, Benjamin (Jamie), Margaret (Jon), Katelyn, Matthew, Joseph (Courtney) and Deanna; proud great grandmother of Rex, Gavin and Angelie; dear sister of Judith Marie Hemesath, Edward Arthur Carlsen and Christopher John Carlsen; daughter of the late Arthur Peter and Virginia Mary Carlsen.
A teacher at Our Lady of the Wayside for 27 years, she loved gardening, cooking, traveling and camping.
Visitation Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Visitation Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass 10:00 a.m. at Clare Oaks Chapel 825 Carillon Dr., Bartlett, Il 60103. Interment All Saints.
