Mario Vadala

Mario L. Vadala, 92, of Roselle, passed away Friday July 24. Loving husband of Maudie(nee Barnes); cherished father of Marianne Merrill and Muriel(Norman) Garrett; proud grandfather of Kenny Hutson, Wesley Garrett, Vincent Merrill, Jason Garrett, Anthony Merrill, and Shawn Garrett; fond brother of May Vadala and the late Tina(the late Henry) Coco. Mario served in World War II as a mechanic on fighter planes. After the war he obtained his degree in design engineering and worked for the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Chicago and vacationed with family each Christmas until age 67, then traveled with his wife Maudie to England and Europe several times. In the onset of Parkinson's Disease and medication, he became bedridden after a stroke 7 months ago passing away on July 24. Memorial visitation Saturday August 15 from 9:00am until time of service 10:00am at Roselle United Methodist Church 206 S. Rush St., Roselle. Cremation private Countryside Crematory.
