Marilyn R. Kukla

Marilyn R. Kukla, of Bartlett, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the age of 76. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, on December 8, 1949, Marilyn was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend whose vibrant spirit and love for her family touched everyone she met.

Marilyn is lovingly survived by her sisters Paula (Richard) Nesbitt and Jenifer (Ron) Skiba; her cherished nieces and nephews: David (Dawn) Marx, Daniel (Donna) Marx, Dennis (Sindy) Marx, Donald (Maryann) Marx, Molly (Chris) Maka, Bridget Nesbitt, Evan Nesbitt, Samantha Skiba, and Greg Skiba; as well as several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. Kukla and Mildred A. Kukla, and her sister, Nancy (Fred) Marx.

Marilyn was a proud "Fanilow," a huge fan of Barry Manilow, whose music delighted her throughout the years. She found joy in shopping and was known for her generous spirit and impeccable taste. Above all, her family was her world; she never missed a graduation, birthday, or sports event, always there to cheer on and celebrate her loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Rd., Bartlett, IL, on Monday, October 26th, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Damian Catholic Church or a charity of your choice in Marilyn's name.

Marilyn's warm smile and generous heart will be dearly missed, but the love she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
