Marilyn Kristie (nee: Reed), of Streamwood since 1958, loving mother of Pamela (the late John) Matyasik, Dawn (Ron) Bloomberg, Robert (Sherry) Kristie, Jill (Jeff) Muth, Jack (Diane) Kristie and Mark (Nancy) Kristie; dear grandmother of John, Melanie, Bryan, Jeremy, Nick, Matt, Lindsey, Taylor, Jeffrey, Kristie, Melissa, Jack , Gina, Marissa, Lia, Travis and Sara; dear great grandmother of 32; fond sister of , Patrick, Thomas and Diane. She was preceded in death by her great grandson Leland, brothers James and Jack and her longtime boyfriend Don Sachs.

Marilyn was a member of Spred, Minister of communion and head counter at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Visitation Sunday December 1, 2024 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd., Streamwood. Prayers will be said 9:15am at the funeral home to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 502 Park Blvd., Streamwood, IL for Mass at 10:00am. Entombment to follow in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
