Marianna Assmann(nee Bockstardt), 80, of Streamwood formerly of Leland, MI, passed away Monday, April 4. A devoted housewife and mother, Marianna enjoyed sailing and traveling. Beloved wife of the late Gerhard; loving mother of Scott(Judith), Craig(Bobbi-Jo), and Jason; dear grandmother of Ian, Alec, Dylan, Nicholas(Lauren), Anthony, and Emily; proud great grandmother of Ava and Olivia; devoted daughter of the late Bergmann and the late Martha(nee Kamzol) Bockstardt. Visitation Friday, April 8 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm where services will be held at 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
