Marian Szymanski

December 20, 1950 — January 14, 2024

Marian Szymanski, 73, of Barrington Hills, formerly of Chicago, IL passed away on January 14, 2024. Born on December 20, 1950 in Poland to his parents Jan and Jozefa Szymanski. Marian was a hard worker and an avid sports fan. He was a self- taught musician, playing the accordion and the piano.

Marian leaves behind his beloved wife Irene; loving children Adrian (Cristen) Bielat and Eryk Szymanski; cherished grandchildren Logan and Madelyn; dear brother to Stanislaw (Beata) Szymanski, Jan (Janina) Szymanski, Grazyna (Zygmund) Swierczek, the late Jozek (Krystyna) Szymanski, and the late Maria (Adam) Zaucha; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL 60103. Funeral Saturday, January 20, beginning with 8:45 am prayers at the funeral home and processing to St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 S Crest Ave, Bartlett, IL 60103 for his funeral Mass at 9:30 am.
