Marian Mezczyzna, 68, of Bartlett, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at home. Born September 15, 1947 in Poland. Marian enjoyed gardening, dancing and being with his family. Beloved husband of 45 years to Wanda (nee Liro); loving dad of Marzena Rataj and Krzysztof (Annette); cherished grandpa of Daniel, Caitie, Anna and Nicole; dear son of the late Wladyslaw and Rozalia (nee Kowalczyk) and brother of Janina, Jozef, Rozalia and Wladyslawa. Visitation 3:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 9:15a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
