Maria Co Uy, born August 17, 1927 (93) of Glendale Heights, IL died December
18, 2020. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Francisco Uy; loving mother of
the late Mario (Luz), Jimmy (Mavic) and Pancho (Monet); Proud grandmother of
Theresa, Marlene, Rhea, Neilsy John(NJ) and Syril. Beloved great grandmother
of Clayton, Jayden and Axel. Dear sister of Irene Tancuan. She was preceded in
death by her parents Co Bun Bina and Maria Damian, her sister Juliana (Aning),
her brothers Celestino, Crispin and Herminio.
Maria enjoyed dancing, cooking and travelling. She was a proud member of the
Senior Citizens group in Glendale Heights and the Filipino Senior Group. Maria
always loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren
were the most important part of her life.
Visitation and Funeral Service, Monday, December 21, 3:00 pm – 9 pm CST
(Funeral Service at 5:30 pm) at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory at 950
S. Bartlett Rd. (corner Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Memorial mass to be announced at
a later date.
**Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only 10 people will be allowed in
the funeral home at one time. For visitation time slots, please contact Pancho
at 630-440-9880 or Theresa at 630-335-9423. Masks are required.
