Maria Szklarz

Maria Ann Szklarz, nee Zak,87, of Bartlett, wife of the late Edward; mother of Diane Marczak and Robert (Vicki); grandmother of Tamara (Martin) Krukowski, Michelle ( Reese) Berry, Sean and Cassandra; sister of the late Helen Brol and Chester Zak. Maria was active with the Wayne Township Seniors. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, knitting and cooking. Her hands were always busy doing something. Known as a survivor her whole life - making it through Siberia during WWII. Manners were a must when around Babi, as her family affectionately called her. Memorial visitation Friday July 19th 9:30 am until the time of memorial mass 10:30 am at Resurrection church 30 W 350 Army Trail Rd.( Rt. 59 and Army Trail Rd.) Wayne. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Red Cross would be appreciated. (630)289-7575.
