Maria Serafin (nee Gorecka) a longtime resident of Chicago; beloved wife of 46 years to Zenon; loving mother of Mariusz (Monika) Serafin and Jadwiga (Ismailj) Neziri; cherished grandmother of Bartosz, Julia, Maria Serafin and Sara Neziri; dear sister of Lucyna (the late Jerzy J.) Krzyworzeka, Halina Pytynia and Elzbieta (Stanislaw) Pociask; proud aunt of Eliasz and Katarzyna.

Visitation Friday, July 15th 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday 9:45 a.m. to St. Peter Damian Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Burial Lakewood Memorial Park.
