It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved
mom
Maria Guadalupe Sanchez, who left us on September 1, 2024, at the age of 58. Maria was born on October 14, 1965, to her cherished parents, Pascual and Aurora Cortes.
Maria cherished her community and took great pleasure in spending time with her family and friends. She loved her walks through downtown and along the beach, engaging in conversations about faith, and, most of all, capturing precious memories through photography, ensuring the special moments spent together would never be forgotten.
She was a devoted wife to Enrique Sanchez and a deeply loving mother to Miriam (Gabriel) Carlos, Janet Sanchez, Enrique Sanchez Jr., and Karina (Julian) Salgado. As a grandmother, her warmth and affection knew no bounds, as she loved her grandchildren Jocelyn, Kaylin, Naythan, and Gabriel Jr., with infinite devotion. Maria was also a treasured sister, leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories.
A visitation to honor Maria’s memory will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 3:00PM to 9:00PM at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 950 S. Bartlett Rd., Bartlett, IL 60103.
A funeral mass celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 2250 N. McVicker Ave, Chicago, IL 60639. Maria will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida mamá María Guadalupe Sánchez, quien nos dejó el 1 de Septiembre de 2024, a la edad de 58 años. María nació el 14 de Octubre de 1965, de sus queridos padres, Pascual y Aurora Cortés.
María quería muchísimo a su comunidad y disfrutaba mucho pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Le encantaba tomar paseos por el centro de la ciudad y caminar en la playa, entablar conversaciones sobre la fe y, sobre todo, le encantaba capturar recuerdos preciosos a través de la fotografía, asegurando que los momentos especiales que pasamos juntos nunca fueran olvidados.
Fue una esposa devota de Enrique Sánchez y una madre profundamente amorosa de Miriam (Gabriel) Carlos, Janet Sánchez, Enrique Sánchez Jr. y Karina (Julián) Salgado. Como abuela, su calidez y cariño no tuvieron límites, ya que amaba a sus nietos Jocelyn, Kaylin, Naythan y Gabriel Jr., con infinita devoción. María también fue una hermana querida, que dejó un legado de amor y buenos recuerdos.
