Maria Hubbell

Maria E. Hubbell, 77, of Bartlett and formerly of Florida, passed on Thursday, May 30, 2024.  Born August 24, 1946 in Chicago to Antonio and Adelina Calero.

Maria enjoyed photography and art in many forms.  She also enjoyed making her own stained glass art, painting, making jewelry and crocheting which she recently did for her granddaughters.  She also enjoyed sailing while living in Florida and loved children and animals.  Maria made her career as a respiratory therapist largely working in a children's hospital in Florida. In her retirement she worked as a crossing guard.  Maria rescued many pets in her life, one of her most beloved being Chloe a corgi that served as a therapy dog to residents in Florida. Maria will be remembered fondly.  Beloved mom of Anthony (Kim), Christopher (Kelly) and Jonathan Baumann; loving grammie of Reece, Brooke, Brooke, Breanna and Brynn; dear sister of Margot (Tom) Hadala and caring aunt of Jeff and Scott.
