Memorial visitation for Maria "Georgie" Gyongyi Hary of Victory Centre in Bartlett, formerly of Wonder Lake will be held Thursday July 25, 2013 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born September 30, 1945 in Mosonszentmiklos, Hungary, Georgie died Friday July 19, 2013.
Georgie and her family left Hungary in 1956 and lived in Ireland until 1962 when they immigrated to the USA. She worked for Marshall Fields in the cosmetic department and for 30 years as a hairdresser. She was very helpful to others and a hard worker. She was also an accomplished volunteer having volunteered for many activities throughout her lifetime.
