Margie Howard

Margie Howard (nee Belcher, 89 of Bartlett Illinois, (formerly of Chicago, IL) passed away peacefully on August 12, 2020. She was born on January 8th 1931 in Saylor, Kentucky daughter of the late Alifaire and Roscoe Belcher. Margie moved to Chicago with her husband Gillis and her four children at the age of 24. Later she worked at Brach’s Candy company for more than thirty years. Preceded in death by her husband Gillis Howard; sisters Vestina, Irene, Della Mae, Ollie and her brother Matt. Loving mother of Burley (Maureen) Howard, Harry (Vicky) Howard, Ann (Bill) Rohde, Donna (Mike) Conforti. Proud grandmother to Brian (Michelle), Kim (Paul), Sean (Jenny), Chris (Evelyn), Kristen (Robby), Kelly, Billy (Ashley), Lisa (Glenn) and Joey. Loving Great Grandmother of Jenna, Nicholai, Nathan, Madison, Jayden, Joannie, Emily, Jameson, Michael and Abigail. As a Christian woman, she was most proud of her 4 children. She instilled life’s most important values of faith, love and perseverance into them. Her loving legacy will be echoed through many future generations. Visitation 10:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Evangel Church, 5700 Bartels Road, Hanover Park. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
