Margarita Rivera Salazar, 87, formerly of Corpus Christi, TX and South Elgin, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 28. Margarita was a very caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Beloved wife of the late Jesus Garcia Salazar; loving mother of Oscar(Christa), Robert, Sylvia(Thomas) Wetzel, and the late Arturo; proud grandmother of Arturo Salazar, Jr., Steffanie(Carlos) Vasquez, Michelle, Michael(Amy), Tania, and Anthony Salazar, Jessica(Tony) Ortegon, Zachary Cincinelli, Jacqueline(Eric) Kardesh, and Natalie Wetzel; dear great grandmother of 11; cherished daughter of the late Jose and the late Rebeca(nee Rodriguez) Rivera; fond sister of her late siblings: Freddie, Enrique, Paul, Elva, and Rose.
