Margaret Lyman

July 25, 1929 — October 5, 2023

Margaret “Peg” Lyman (O’Connor) joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 5 ^th surrounded by her loved ones. She was a doting mother and loving wife, famous for her chocolate chip cookies, loved to play cards, knit, and spend time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Arthur E Lyman, her Children Mary “Debbie” Lyman (Bruce Maglin), Arthur J Lyman (Wendy Michael), Gale Luniewski (the late Ray), Craig Lyman (Cindy), Karen Morrissey (Randy Mileur), Glen Lyman (Debra), Renee Gagnon (Bob), Michele Lyman (Jim O’Boye); Grandchildren Rebecca Williams (Roger), Rachael Hughes (Cody), Christina Lyman, Alissa Lyman, Joey Lyman, Kellie Stephen (Joe), Brian Morrissey, Teagan Luniewski (Mario), Tara Luniewski, Zachary Lyman (Nayeli), Corey Lyman (Haley), Adam Gagnon, Madeline Gagnon (Alex); Great Grandchildren Luke, Liam, Rylan, Hannah, Kate, Shirley, Maverick, and Silvie; many generations of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Katherine O’Connor and six siblings.

Visitation Monday October 9, 2023 3:00pm until 8:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., Bartlett. Funeral Mass Tuesday October 10, 2023 10:00am, meet at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 13030 West 143rd., Homer Glen, Illinois . Burial to follow at 12:30pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
