Margaret L. Jernigan

Margaret L. Jernigan (nee Taylor), 79, of Streamwood, formerly of Bensenville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 19, 2025. An avid Toby Keith and Chicago sports fan, Margaret enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble, and baking, but mostly spending time with her family and grandkids. Beloved wife of the late Harold Jernigan; loving mother of Kathleen (Scott) Federighi and the late Roger (Mary Ann) Seglem, and step mother of Donna (Duane) Palmer and Mike Jernigan; cherished grandmother of Taylor (Eric) Cronin, Dylan Federighi, Austin Seglem, Emma McVicker, and the late Brandon Federighi, and step grandmother of Alex (Erica) Jernigan, Logan (Victoria) Jernigan, and Chase and Halie Jernigan; proud great grandmother of Wyatt and William; dear sister of Kathleen (the late Gary) Austin.
