Margaret “Kay” Brown (nee Stump) of Streamwood, formerly of Sycamore, went to her heavenly home on August 22, 2022, after a courageous 8-year battle with cancer.
 
 Kay was the daughter of W. Austin and Margaret (nee Kaufman) Stump and a 1962 graduate from Warren High School (Warren, IL).  She went on to earn a degree in Nursing and dedicated her life to serving and caring for others.   She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Kay will be remembered for her love of reading, cross-stitching, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren.
 
 She is the beloved mother of John (Beth Hudson-Brown) Brown, Marie Myers, Julia (the late Robert) Reinbold and Sarah (John) Tancredi; cherished grandmother of Micaela Harper, Caleb Myers, Zackery Reinbold, Victoria Reinbold, Michael Tancredi and Brian Tancredi; dear sister of Kathy Redington (the late Daniel), Michael Stump, Marie McDonnell (Thomas), Trisha Lehman, Connie Mottley (Terry), In addition, Kay is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
 
 Kay is preceded in death by her parents, W. Austin and Margaret Stump; her sister, Delores Ward; her brother, Richard Stump; her son-in-law, Robert Reinbold, and brother-in-laws, Daniel Redington and Dave Ward.
 
 Visitation for Margaret “Kay” Brown will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Memorial Mass Wednesday, August 31 arrival at 10:45 a.m. with mass at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit 1451 Bode Rd, Schaumburg. Inurnment Maryhill. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
