Marcus Beckler

Visitation for Marcus M. “Mike” Beckler, Jr., a resident of Streamwood since 1977, will be held Friday, August 21, 3:00pm until time of service 8:00pm, Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.

Beloved husband of Helen nee Kubon for 50 years; cherished father of Toni (Christopher) Podock, and Michael (Tina); loving “Papa” of Alec and Stefanie Podock; dear brother of Mary Lou Luepke, Catherine (Bruce) Marsh, and the late Michael Miles; many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; brother in law of Irene (the late Carl) Donnawell, and the late Adolph C. Kubon.

He was owner of M&M Laundry Repair Service and a veteran of the US Army 101st Airborne. He loved traveling, fishing, and casino trips.
