Marcos Ortiz Lara, 37, died January 11, 2019. Marcos was the beloved husband of Sara Ortiz for 15 years (together for 19 years); loving father of Alicia and Yasmine; cherished son of J. Nolverto Ortiz and Alicia Lara Murillo; dear brother of Diego, Juan, Miguel and Esmeralda; fond son in law of Bobbi Villalobos; Uncle of 4 nephews and 1 niece. Marcos loved playing soccer, fishing, and cooking. He also loved to spend time with family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, January 17, 3:00pm - 9:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral Friday, 10:30am. Burial Dundee Township East Cemetery.
