Marco Dabetic

Marco Dabetic, 75, of Schaumburg passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Marco was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran having served in Vietnam where he earned a Purple Heart. He was a highly dedicated member and former commander of the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates VFW. Marco enjoyed wrestling, baseball, was an antique collector, and dog lover. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Beloved husband of Janet (nee Schmitt); loving dad of Debra (Ricky) Vasquez, Michael (Jamie) Dabetic, and Randi (Mark Kramer) Dispigno; cherished father figure and best friend of his grandson Christian; grandfather of Nicholas; dear son of the late Ilija and Frieda; kind brother of Tom; best friend of John and the late Tommy Higgin; and fond owner of his four-legged daughter Mandy.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a service at 6:00pm on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S. Roselle  Rd, Roselle. Interment Tuesday 10:00am at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
