Marcia Ann Walsh

Marcia Ann “Marcy” Walsh, formerly of Mount Prospect, was called Home on May 6, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on June 30, 1940, Marcy lived a long and fulfilling life, completely dedicated to her beloved husband, Tom, her beautiful family, and her strong Catholic faith.

Her devotion extended beyond her family, guided by her commitment to the Franciscan Order. She dedicated herself to helping those less fortunate through her missionary work in Bolivia and with the Navajo Nation.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas J.; loving mother of Tim (Angelika), Kathleen (Gene) McSweeney, Mary (David) Marsalla, and her late son Tommy; cherished grandmother of Patrick (Mishelle) Walsh, Kaitlin (Matthew Matherson) Hinz, Jim (Fran) McSweeney, Dan (Taylor) McSweeney, Tom McSweeney, Colleen McSweeney, Ava Marsalla, and Sonny Marsalla; proud great-grandmother of Aaron, Weston, Cameron, Cole, and Tyler; dear sister of Robert Streicher (the late Marilou Streicher and Sallianne Warren).

Visitation Friday, May 15 from 10:00am until time of Mass 11:00am at Resurrection Catholic Church 30W350 Army Trail Rd., Wayne. Family and friends will meet at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines for interment at 1:00pm. Info (630)289-7575
