Marcia L. Marcus (nee Olson) of Streamwood; beloved wife of 41 years to David; loving mother of Laura (Seth) Abernethy and Amanda Marcus; dear sister of Paul (Lisa) Olson; proud aunt of Ian and Dana Olson.
Marcia enjoyed quilting, reading fiction and walking. She was brilliant and talented, obtaining her Master’s degree from Northern Illinois University and focused on helping special needs children, especially in teaching them to read.
Visitation Monday, October 20th 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. Burial Randhill Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Liver Foundation at www.liverfoundation.org would be appreciated.
