Marcie Landeros 78, of Streamwood passed away in her home on August 27, 2020.
Marcie had a long career as a librarian at Harper College and enjoyed encouraging others with her love of books. If her nose was not in a book, Marcie was living her life to the fullest as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, and her laughter was contagious. Her kindness, compassion, and positive outlook inspired us all to always be our best. Her loving nature will be sorely missed by all.
Marcie was preceded in death by her father and mother Joe and Ann Meyer, and loving husband Thomas F. Landeros. She is survived by her brother Guy Meyer, and niece Kyra Meyer, daughter Chris Beltz and son Tom Landeros (Jodi Landeros), Grandchildren Scott Tresnak (Dusty Tresnak), Jack Beltz, Sarah Beltz, James Landeros, Marie Landeros, and her Great Grandchildren Lola and Elle Tresnak.
A private interment ceremony will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1001, Villa Street, Elgin, Il 60120. Celebration of Life will take place sometime next year. In lieu of flowers, donations to www.firstbook.org would be appreciated.
