Magnus Wall

Magnus "Mag" Wall, 92, of South Elgin and formerly of Chicago, husband of the late Helen, father of Tom (girlfriend Francesca Bonomo), brother of the late Shirley, Marie, Ray and Docfin and uncle of many cousins. Magnus was a devoted employee of Harrison Sample Company in Chicago, starting with the company at age 17 and retiring at the age of 67. He was a 1946 graduate of Lane Tech. He cheered on all Chicago sports teams. He was a hard working, simple man. He was happiest with a cup of coffee and spending time with his son. The world needs more people like Magnus Wall. He will be missed but never forgotten. Private family visitation and service on Wednesday, December 9th, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warriors would be appreciated.
