Maddalena T. Marano (nee Bonura), 91, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Itasca and Chicago, IL, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023. Born in Sicily, Italy, Maddalena enjoyed sewing, baking, watching the birds, and especially hosting the holidays for her family. Beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Rose Geiser, Fred (Sue), Dan (Nancy), and Linda (Jerry) Romano; cherished grandmother of Teresa, Kevin, Kristina, Diana, Dan, Melissa, Zachary, and Maggie; proud great grandmother of Isabella, Logan, Sofia, Giavana, Joseph, Jacob, Aiden, Ryan, Adam, Ellie, Antonino, Theo, Samuel, Olivia, Julia, Elio, Nico, and Nathaniel; dear sister of Rosalie Milne, the late Joseph Bonura, and the late Nancy Conigliaro; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
